2019 Green & White Bash

Join Greensboro Montessori School for a magical evening celebrating the heart of our School … our students and faculty. The Green & White Bash is our School’s annual gala and auction with net proceeds funding professional development for our faculty and financial assistance for students.

The 2019 Green & White Bash is ’80s themed and promises to be a fun night for all. The event will include dinner, dessert, beverages, and live music. Plus, our auction will feature items from around town (including gift cards from your favorite restaurants), unique experiences only available at the Bash, and wonderful classroom art projects created by all 232 of our students.

Tickets to the Bash are on sale for the all-inclusive price of $75 per person. Grab your friends, line up child care, and let’s celebrate! The Green and White Bash is a perfect opportunity to treat yourself for an invaluable cause – the students and faculty of our School.

Why Support the Bash?

The annual Green & White Bash supports the people of Greensboro Montessori School – our faculty and students. Net proceeds from the Bash are split between professional development for our master teachers and financial assistance for students.

Any investment in our School’s teachers is an investment in our students. By supporting our faculty through professional development, our community helps maintain and enhance the quality of our programming. Within the last year, we’ve provided specialized training in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), school bus driving, first aid, language arts, notary public, suicide prevention, writing, and safe schools policies and procedures. Additionally, as new professional educators join our team, and current faculty pursue certification, the School sponsors them to attend an intense, two-year, graduate-level Montessori teacher certification program. On average, the all-inclusive cost to achieve Montessori certification is $10,000.

Greensboro Montessori School’s financial assistance program supports families who cannot otherwise afford our tuition. It is reviewed and granted on an annual basis and is available to students enrolled in kindergarten and and first through ninth grades. Financial assistance is awarded on a family’s ability to pay as recommended by our third-party partner, Financial Aid for School Tuition, and 25% of our student population from kindergarten to ninth grade attend our School with the support of this program.
