Sara Stratton was originally appointed in 2016 as an environmental education teacher. In her current role as a Culinary Arts teacher, Sara joins us on Friday mornings for the Junior High careers curriculum. More specifically, she leads Maria’s Market, our student-run restaurant.
Sara holds Permaculture Design Certificate and is pursuing a bachelors degree in the field of Nutrition. Through her coursework, Sara has given healthy eating presentations to several area preschools and elementary schools.
Sara is an avid home gardener and loves preparing food right out of her garden at home. Her children attended a Montessori school in Ohio from preschool through the fourth grade.
