Early Childhood Virtual Open House
Join us on Thursday, March 4 at 1:30 p.m. for a virtual exploration of Greensboro Montessori School’s early childhood programs. Tour a toddler and primary classroom, meet our director of lower school, and see happy, independent children engaged in their learning. We’ll also share how we continue to meet the social, emotional, and cognitive needs of our students during COVID-19.
Families choose Greensboro Montessori School because our curriculum masterfully blends academic prowess with the development of skills necessary for a lifetime of achievement in a global society. Beginning at 18 months old, our students learn how to work and play in culturally diverse, multiage learning communities. The goal of their academic work is mastery, not test preparation, and their studies are augmented by a wide array of cultural programming. Beginning in our primary division (preschool), students receive lessons in environmental education, Spanish, visual art, and world music. Beginning in first grade, students also take physical education.
Greensboro Montessori School is accepting applications for the 2021-22 school year, making our Early Childhood Virtual Open House a great way to learn more about our School.
When we receive an application, our director of admission will contact the family personally, schedule virtual student visits (for children ages 3 and older) and guide families through the process. Offers of admission are based upon a student’s application, family and student virtual visits, teacher interviews, class compositions, past and present recommendations from other schools, parental support, and a family’s commitment to the Montessori method.
