Summer Camp

All-Inclusive Summer Camp is available for families with Toddler, Primary, and Elementary students currently enrolled at Greensboro Montessori School. It provides fun, safe, and age-appropriate experiences specifically designed to meet the developmental needs of our students, while also introducing whimsical activities and more lighthearted adventures for the warm and playful summer months.

Please note, availability for All-Inclusive Summer Camp is limited in all Divisions, and the Primary program is currently full. We will continue to accept registrations for our Toddler and Elementary programs through March 15, 2024, or until the programs fill up, respectively, whichever comes first. If a program fills up, we reserve the right to give returning students enrollment priority over students who have withdrawn for the 2024-25 school year.

Seven Weeks of Summer Camp

All-Inclusive Summer Camp is seven weeks long, with different faculty members providing thematic, weekly programming. This format offers our students a wide variety of activities while still maintaining consistent classroom groupings and expectations. The School will provide an afternoon snack, along with enrichments and plenty of outdoor play.

Three Days of Optional, Interim Camp

Families who participate in All-Inclusive Summer Camp will have the option to add three days of Interim Camp for students entering their second year of Primary or older.* The optional three days are the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday after the last day of school. Interim Camp is led by our CASA faculty and provides transitional days between the current school year and the beginning of All-Inclusive Summer Camp. Since the School’s classrooms will be closed for teacher work week, Interim Camp will focus on outdoor play and activities in the Gym. Enrollment will also be more limited than it is for the seven-week All-Inclusive Summer Camp, and we will accept registrations until Interim Camp is full.

*Due to the uniqueness of Interim Camp (primarily held outside and in the Gym), it is not developmentally appropriate for rising Primary students (students who are currently enrolled in our Toddler program and will be moving to Primary either this summer or in the fall).

Greensboro Montessori School’s Summer Camp cancellation and refund policies are based on the School’s investment in staff, program activities, and supplies before programming begins, and the $500 per child deposit is nonrefundable. Upon the first day of Camp, payment is due in full, even if a participating student does not attend camp, except in the case of an extenuating circumstance as reviewed and approved by the School. Students who leave during Summer Camp for an approved reason will receive a prorated refund (less the non-refundable deposit).
Late Pickups

Students must be picked up from Summer Camp by 6 p.m. If a family realizes they will be late, we ask they call the Office in advance. Students picked up after 6 p.m. will be billed at a rate of $5.25 per child for every 15 minutes past 6 p.m.
