Week at The Land for Junior High Students

We miss having our Junior High students and campus, and we've identified a great week for {Child 1 Name} to join us. During the week of July 24 to 28, Junior High faculty members, Doug Williams and Tim Goetz, will be hosting our Upper Elementary Summer Camp students for a week at the Land, and Junior High students are invited to attend. Doug and Tim will lead students through a "Pallet Project," which involves deconstructing shipping pallets, salvaging and preparing the wood from those pallets, and constructing a new item. Potential building ideas include dog beds, bird houses, planters, book shelves, and corn hole boards.

The cost to attend this special week of Summer Camp is $415 and includes an overnight at The Land on Thursday, July 27. During our overnight, students will have ample time to enjoy the woods and the creek in the late afternoon. Later that evening, we will cook supper together and enjoy time around the campfire. Students will sleep inside the 14-bedroom retreat center at The Land, and we will return to campus by 3 p.m. on Friday.

For our day trips (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday), we will leave campus each day at 9 a.m. and return by 3 p.m. Students are welcome to stay with us until 6 p.m. when camp closes for the day.

Please enter the name(s) of the student for which this Weekly Summer Camp Registration applies.

We offer two payment options for Weekly Summer Camp:

  • Balance Due July 21 | After paying my nonrefundable $125 deposit, I agree to pay the remaining balance via PayPal, Venmo, check, or cash by Friday, July 21.
  • Bundled with Tuition | After paying my nonrefundable $125 deposit, I would like to bundle the remaining balance with the upcoming school year’s tuition.

By submitting this Weekly Summer Camp registration and paying my deposit, I understand that Greensboro Montessori School’s Summer Camp cancellation and refund policies are based on the School’s investment in staff, program activities, and supplies before programming begins, and that my $125 deposit per child per week is nonrefundable. I also understand that:

  1. Upon the first day of Camp, I will be responsible for payment in full, even if our child does not attend camp, except in the case of an extenuating circumstance as reviewed and approved by the School. Students who leave during Summer Camp for an approved reason will receive a prorated refund (less the non-refundable deposit).
  2. Camp closes daily at 6 p.m., and the School will bill me a late pick-up fee at a rate of $5.25 per child for every 15 minutes past 6 p.m.
